Fathers and daughters.
They make me shed a tear everytime I shoot a wedding I swear. Amanda called him her Honorary Bridesmaid at her reception and I can understand why. I think this is the first time I’ve ever seen a father help bustle a dress and I have to tell you – he was great! The sweetest man and no doubt extremely happy and proud of his daughter Amanda who married Alan at Oak Island this past Saturday.

I can hardly wait to see the rest of the photographs. It was really nice having you do their wedding. Your assistant was also nice to work with. Joanne Ans(Mother of the Groom)
Dear Steph,
From the time I met you last October I knew you would be great for our wedding. During the year you were amazing. The awesome engagement shots, I loved that our picture was on the cd. The wedding magazine and card you gave me and the last card congratulating us on our new baby. You are so thoughtful and it was much appreciated. Thank you so much for capturing the magic of our special day.
I just keep looking at these six photos over and over again. They make me smile .Every time I read that note at the top I cry.
I posted your blog on my facebook and I had so many comments and everyone can’t wait to see more.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I am so lucky to have you!
Next photo session-Family photos.

Thank you so much Julie for your comments! Your families were all a pleasure to photograph and the love and support that day was overwhelmingly beautiful. All the best to the newlyweds and friends and families
.
Steph, you certainly captured a very special memory for Amanda. You have great intuition to have seen that special time and you are a fantastic photographer to be able to get a still shot that tells a story like that. Amanda’s dad was indeed very much like a bridesmaid in the week leading up to the big day, helping with all the little things that mattered so much. Thank you for “seeing” that and blogging about it. The four photos posted are incredible; so looking forward to others. In a word, wow!
