When I first met Stephanie, I’ll admit I was a little intimidated as she asked me quite a few questions on her “Wedding Photography Questionnaire” list that I’m sure I’ve seen a couple of times in Wedding Bells. I loved that she was thorough and upfront with what she wanted from her Wedding Photography and had no problems telling me what she liked, loved and didn’t like. We had a great time at their Engagement Shoot and I finally got to meet Mike since they were/are maintaining a long distance relationship. Wow I give true kudos to couples that can sustain long distance relationships because anyone that has experienced that – can no doubt attest to the sometimes trying times of communication issues & the hard pangs of missing one another. That can’t be easy.
But Stephanie & Mike looked like they’d never been apart a day in 8 years on their wedding day.
I would certainly be remiss to not mention that Kobi looked ever so dashing in his tuxedo as their proud 5 3/4 yr old West Highland Terrier walking down the aisle… he only started to run away from my Canon as he spotted a squirrel at the Irving Centre when we were starting the family portraits – I really can’t compete with animals it’s unfair.![]()
Their reception at the Ken-Wo Golf Club was nothing short of fabulous with gorgeous fall theme inspired decor by a family friend, Pat Casey. I LOVE LOVE fall weddings as its my favourite time of year next to summer (OK that would technically make it my 2nd favourite time o’ year…) but let’s face it the fall colours are simply stunning and Stephanie rocked her dress like no other. For a few smashing black and whites, look below & then check out their Collection of Highlights in colour & bw from October 8th!

PHOTOJOURNALISTIC BEAUTY – Stephanie’s mom sewed a part of her wedding dress at the base of Stephanie’s wedding dress – that’s beautiful…
