Family

What can I say besides… I love my family.  I was lucky and fortunate to visit my family in Toronto 2 weeks ago.  My niece was getting baptized and I had to capture it all for Olivia to see in an album 20 years from now when she realizes she has an incredible set of parents.  Not only did I get to babysit my niece and nephew when I was there – I got to party on the town with the girls on the Friday night – wow now that’s a change in my daily schedule!  I soon realized that I can’t AND shouldn’t dance like I used to when I was 20 something and that shaking my head on the dance floor only causes 3 days of a sore neck not the round of applause I was expecting from being soooo entertaining;).

The baptism’s reception was at Atlantis and this was a party to remember.  Yes it was a party and on a Sunday afternoon even.  Amazing venue, phenomenal food (even a chocolate fountain for strawberries and marshmellows) and of course the company… I even went back to the sushi bar 4 times and had the most lamb chops I’ve ever eaten in one sitting …thank you to Jen and Piero for throwing a bash like no other.

I’ve watched this short version of Olivia’s slideshow so many times now I am tired of crying each time I see it.  Love you Liv!  Love and miss you all – can’t wait to see yous again…

STEPH - Thanks Emma but I will have to challenge the dance floor comment – I have friends who will back me up on this one who have seen me in action throughout the late 90s.

Emma Rose Photography - Ahhhhhhh! This is the Steph I know and love! Love your story, you’re always cracking me up like this! LOVE LOVE LOVE your wide angles of the people crossing the street to the church, everyone adoring your niece all at once, your sister with the stroller with the cross-processed look! You rock that wide-angle lens even if you don’t rock the dance floor!
