A Bride’s View of her Wedding Day

We met at Starbucks in April of 2011 and I instantly connected with Crystal & Jon.  Jon had a great sarcastic sense of humour and when Crystal giggled at him I had to laugh too – it was sweet & funny all at the same time.  They were fun people who loved to laugh – my kind of clients and now I’m happy to say friends.  Instead of me telling you what their wedding day was like – I thought it might be fun to have a little of the bride’s perspective of what her day was like instead of mine.  I took the photographs but Crystal answers some questions on what her wedding day felt like…

One word to describe the day: Perfect
Favourite moment: Seeing Jon at the end of the aisle
What went too fast aside from the whole day: The Ceremony

As per Crystal…”I got really nervous the 45 minutes prior to the Ceremony but when I got to peek outside and see all my family & friends & Jon waiting for me – it just felt right & I was no longer nervous. We chose The Saraguay House because it reminded us of home/of the country even though it’s within the city and the waterfront also reminded me of the lakefront where I spent every summer of my childhood in NB.”

Crystal and Jon wrote their own vows for the ring exchange and their fun-loving personalities came out even more – I couldn’t help but laugh when Crystal said “I give you this ring to keep the Dalhousie girls away…” and Jon saying “I give you this ring because I know you love sparkly things…”

Danielle - The slideshow looks amazing! Can’t wait to see the rest of the pictures, Stephanie! You capture the emotion of weddings beautifully. It was a pleasure to be a small part of this wedding and getting to work with you again.
